Educator. Advocate. Change Maker.

Supporting Readers and
Those Who Teach Them.

Sherri Marie Lucas is a literacy educator, tutor, national trainer and literacy advocate helping students and educators succeed through the Science of Reading and structured literacy.

Dyslexia Day at the Georgia state capitol in Atlanta.

Meet Sherri:

I’ve spent my career inside classrooms, working directly with students who were doing everything they could to learn to read—but weren’t being taught in ways that worked for them.

That’s what led me to the Science of Reading.

Today, I work with both students and educators to close that gap—through tutoring, training, and advocacy rooted in how the brain actually processes language.

Services

For Students & Families

I provide targeted, structured literacy tutoring designed to build strong reading foundations—especially for students who have struggled with traditional instruction.

For Educators

As a former national facilitator, I’ve trained educators across the country in evidence-based reading instruction. My work focuses on practical application—what this actually looks like in real classrooms.

For Communities & Organizations

I partner with schools, nonprofits, and community programs to expand access to effective literacy instruction—especially in underserved communities.
